Meals with Compassion

Each evening, 365 days a year, we open our doors to serve anyone in need of a nutritious meal. For many, this is the only real meal they will have for the day. For these reasons, this outreach service is called Meals with Compassion.

Last year we served over 20,000 evening meals to our dinner guests. In the last six months, we have been serving an average of 100 meals per evening, whereas last year, we were serving an average of 50 meals each evening.

As we try to keep up with the significant increase in demand, we are encouraging groups to prepare meals and bring them to our location to serve. Here you will find a few sample menus that include the amount of items needed to serve a meal for 100 people.

View a sample menu of the delicious, hot, nutritious meals we prepare and serve.

We invite you to not only prepare the meal, but also to serve and see the smiles from the men, women and children who dine with us.

We are in need individuals and groups who are willing to help serve the meal and/or prepare the meal and bring it to our location to be served to our dinner guests. This is an incredible hands-on opportunity to truly serve our neighbors in need. Church groups, civic organizations or businesses can support the program on a regular basis, adopting a day per month or quarter to help us help others throughout the year.

On February 26th Little Caesars is partnering with The Salvation Army of Lee, Hendry, and Glades county. Taking the place of the regular nightly meal, Little Caesars Pizza will be serving pizza to the many individuals and families who come to The Salvation Army to dine.
